“Idea… Ancient Greek Science and Technology” in an Exhibition at the BA

The BA Planetarium Science Center – in cooperation with the Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies (BA Academic Sector) and the Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum (NOESIS), and sponsored by the Secretariat for Greeks Abroad (Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs) – hosted a traveling exhibition titled “Idea… Ancient Greek Science and Technology”, inaugurated on Sunday, 31 October 2021, at the Alexploratorium Hall, BA Main Building.
The exhibition displays the transformation of Greek knowledge in several scientific fields, such as basic technologies, astronomy, exploration and communication, body and mind, arts, architecture and automation.
The exhibition runs for three months; daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, except Fridays, Saturdays, and official holidays.
