The BA Celebrates the Graduation of African Students at Egyptian Universities

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina witnessed yesterday the eleventh annual graduation ceremony of African students affiliated to the African League of Young Masters’ programs, organized by the BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University; Ambassador Mohamed El-Badri, Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs; Dr. Mamdouh Abdel Alim, Advisor to Dr. Ghada Farouk, President of Ain Shams University; and Dr. Mahitab El-Manawy, Director of the Public Relations and Communication Department at the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA).
Dr. Ahmed Zayed expressed his delight at the BA's organization of this remarkable event, pointing out that the celebration is witnessing the graduation of nearly five hundred African students studying at various Egyptian universities, representing Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Malawi, Comoros, Somalia, Djibouti and Egypt.
He also noted that the BA is harnessing all its potential to support and build the capacities of African youth through the African League of Young Masters’ programs, which aim to strengthen Egyptian-African relations and open channels of communication between African and Egyptian students.
