The Bibliotheca Alexandrina witnessed this morning the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Administrative Prosecution Authority, in the presence of the BA Director Dr. Ahmed Zayed, and Counselor Hafez Abbas, President of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.
Dr. Zayed expressed his delight at signing a cooperation protocol with a judicial body that is considered one of the basic pillars of the State, stressing that the latter cannot make any sound moral and fair decisions unless they are based on law.
He also stated that the BA is keen on strengthening the relationship with the Administrative Prosecution Authority through activities, workshops, conferences, experience-sharing and training in order to raise legal awareness among state employees, including the BA employees.
For his part, Counselor Hafez Abbas stressed that the aim of this cooperation protocol is to develop the skills of the members of the Administrative Prosecution Authority and their families. He also pointed out that the Authority looks forward to benefiting from the expertise and potential of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with regard to the development of the Administrative Prosecution's Public Library.
At the end of the ceremony, Counselor Hafez Abbas was gifted the book The Photographic Memory of Alexandria by Dr. Ahmed Zayed, and presented the BA with the Authority's shield.
