Seminar: “Contemporary Egypt: Challenges and Future Prospects”

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a seminar entitled "Contemporary Egypt: Challenges and Future Prospects", on Tuesday, 21 November 2023, at 12:00 pm, at the BA Small Theater.
The seminar addresses a number of topics, most notably the “Decent Life” initiative, slum development, the national strategy for human rights, the efforts to achieve citizenship and the ways of addressing marginalization.
The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Gamil Helmy Abdel Wahed, Assistant Minister of Planning and Supervisor of the “Decent Life” initiative; Dr. Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing and Slum Development Supervisor; Dr. Suzanne Adly Nashed, Professor of Law at Alexandria University; and Mr. Essam Shiha, President of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights.
