The BA Presents the Story of Al-Zuhriya Garden through Aref Series

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has released the film Al-Zuhriya Garden as part of the documentary series Aref. The film tells the story of this historic garden located in the neighborhood of Zamalek, which was established by Khedive Ismail to be the jewel of all gardens and a center for rare plant cultivation experiments. It also highlights the story of the huge Bengali fig tree, which is one of the oldest trees in Egypt. This tree has lived through several historical events and has witnessed the developments of Cairo over the years.
The film is part of Aref documentary series, and is one of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's projects that explore various aspects of the cultural and natural heritage of Egypt.
