The BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), in cooperation with the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and the Fekr Khanah initiative, held an interactive workshop entitled "The Science and Inventions of Civilizations", on Saturday, 21 September 2024.

The workshop comes as part of the Library's efforts to promote awareness of the importance of innovations presented by the ancient Egyptian civilization, which contributed to the development of science and literature, as these civilizations were characterized by significant achievements in fields such as language, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, and engineering.

This free workshop aims to introduce children to astronomical sciences and the most important Egyptian inventions. Through this activity, children learned how to measure time using the water clock, which was in use from as early as 4000 BC.
