The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with the Adam Henein Foundation for Fine Arts, will inaugurate the exhibition "Adam Henein... The Paris Years" on Tuesday, 17 December 2024, at 3:00 pm, at the BACC West Exhibition Hall.
The curated pieces displayed in this exhibition represent some of the works that were created by the artist Adam Henein during his stay in Paris from 1971 to 1996. The significance of this collection lies in the fact that all its artworks have never been exhibited before, thus presenting a window on Adam Henein's diverse art that is characterized by a rich simplicity. The exhibition features nearly 48 sculptures and 82 pictorial works.
Through this exhibition, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is partnering with the Adam Henein Foundation for Fine Arts in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Adam Henein Museum in Harrania, Giza.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, 11 January 2025, daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (except on Fridays).
