The BA Takes Part in the First Edition of the Arab Sustainability Expo 2025

The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program is taking part in a specialized scientific session entitled "New Horizons for the Future of Green Economy", as part of the first edition of the Arab Sustainability Expo, which is set to take place on Monday, 19 May 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Triumph Luxury Hotel, Fifth Settlement, Cairo.

The session will be delivered by a group of experts in the fields of sustainable development, namely Dr. Ali Abu Senna, Head of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency; Dr. Hussein Abaza, International Advisor for Sustainable Development and Green Economy, and former Head of the International Economics and Trade Program at the United Nations Environment program; and Prof. Yomn Al-Hamaki, Professor of Economics at Ain Shams University and Rapporteur of the Economic Research Council at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. The session will be moderated by Dr. Marwa El-Wakeel, Head of the BA Academic Research Sector.

It is worth noting that the Arab Sustainability Expo will take place from 18 to 20 May 2025, and is organized by the Arab League Partners Alliance for Sustainability. The Expo is a high-level regional forum that brings together representatives of governments, academic institutions, international organizations, and leading companies to exchange experiences and review best practices in the fields of green economy, clean technologies, environmental governance, and comprehensive development.
