“The Art of the Islamic Book from Leiden Collections” Exhibition

The BA and the Netherlands Embassy in Egypt co-organize the “Art of the Islamic Book from Leiden Collections– Eastern Beauty in Reproductions” from 8 to 28 October 2013.
The Exhibitions marks 400 years of Arabic and Islamic studies in the Netherlands, and displays a selection of the Leiden University Arabic and Islamic manuscripts including calligraphy, miniatures, illustrations and ornaments.
