Solar Eclipse Festivity at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Alexandria—The Planetarium Science Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a few scientific events revolving around the solar eclipse expected on 29 March 2006.
The events include;
A series of Lectures on Culture and Astronomy during the period from 26-27 March 2006, at the Great Hall (Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center)
The Solar Eclipse Observation on 29 March 2006, Bibliotheca Alexandrina Plaza. Where Solar Glasses will be distributed between 9:30 am and 11:00 am, in anticipation of the partial eclipse observation which is estimated to last from 11:27 am to 2:06 pm.
Followed by a video conference of the total eclipse cited at Istanbul from 11:41 am until 2:12 pm
Then from 2.45 pm to 3.45 pm a Video Conference in collaboration with NASA (Solar Eclipses Through Space and Time)
