*Volunteering Opportunities at the Visits Department for Students and Fresh Graduates
The BA Visits Department of the External Relations and Media Sector is pleased to announce that it is accepting a new group of volunteers for its Guided Tours Section.
Tour Guides Section/ Tour Guides
The guide takes visitors (individuals and groups) of different nationalities on tours of the BA in different languages (Arabic, English or French) during which he/she explains the Library history and services.
Qualifications Required for the Volunteering Opportunity:
- General knowledge of historical events.
- Good command of Arabic and proficiency in at least one foreign language (English or French).
- Neat and formal appearance.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fast learner.
- Flexibility when needed regarding working hours (shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
The training period consists of 200 hours (almost two days per week). Volunteers receive certificates at the end of the volunteering period.
Required age: students and fresh graduates (19 – 29 years old).
