The BA Sennari House (Cairo), in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, is organizing an environmental festival with several workshops for children and youth. These workshops are designed to raise awareness about environmental issues and teach participants how to make use of the environmental materials available to them.

The “Make Your Own Toy” workshop will teach children how to create toys, such as spinning tops, windmills, “hoop hunters”, and bowling balls and pins. The “Mural of Stars and Wishes” workshop will give children the chance to write wishes for the environment on a wall mural. Participants will also be taught the art of origami and will be given the chance to take part in various competitive, detective, and popular games.
