The BA Social Sciences Unit at the Main Library Department is organizing a workshop titled “The Parliamentary Elections . . . Step by Step”, moderated by Dr. Mayada Abdul Qadir Ismail, a lecturer of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Alexandria.

In light of the upcoming parliamentary elections, the workshop includes an introduction to the types of elections and the role of parliament in political life, in addition to a training on the research skills related to election-related issues. The workshop is followed by a simulation model of the election process, in order to raise public awareness about the importance of searching for information about candidates and their electoral platforms before casting their votes.

This workshop will be accompanied by a translation into sign language.

Admission to the event is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
