On the occasion of the 120th Anniversary of Mahmoud Saïd’s Birth (1897–1964), the BA is organizing a discussion on the Mahmoud Saïd Catalogue Raisonné by co-authors Dr. Hussam Rashwan, an art researcher, and Valérie Didier Hess, a French art expert.
This catalogue is considered to be an encyclopedia of the work created by renowned artist Mahmoud Saïd, put together in an effort to raise awareness of his work. Mahmoud Saïd was an Egyptian visual artist who pioneered the modern Egyptian school of visual arts.
