The film tells the story of Marie Curie, a poor student at the Sorbonne in 1890s Paris. She comes across Pierre Curie, the professor who started working side-by-side with her; whose admiration for her scientific work soon turns to love.
Marie Curie, winner of the 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics with her husband Pierre Curie. She also won the 1911 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
