Posted on

Alexandria— In light of the growing interest in stock markets, both in developed and developing countries, the Library of Alexandria will hold a lecture entitled the "Stock market". Professor Mahmoud El-Shazly, a technical analyst of money markets and a member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts, will define financial markets, in general, and stock markets in greater detail. In addition, Professor El-Shazly will shed light on the different stock types used in such markets and their centrality to the national economy. Scientific and essential bases for stock-market dealings will be discussed to help non-specialists in that regard. The "stock market" is part of a series of lectures aimed at cultural enhancement, supervised by Dr. Salah Soliman, professor of toxicology in the Faculty of Agriculture at the university of Alexandria and Special Advisor to Dr. Serageldin.

The lecture will start at 2:00 PM, Tuesday 26 September at the BA Meeting room.
