The Cultural Season Lectures for Children at the BA

Alexandria—the Calligraphy Center presents Hieroglyphic courses for children during the mid year vacation on Sundays and Tuesdays every week. The first level starts from 13:00 to 14:30 hrs. followed by the second level from 14:30 to 16:00 hrs.

The center will also start holding lectures for children as of Wednesday, 31 January 2007 with a lecture on "the Origin and Development of Writing" by Sherine Ramadan from 15:00 to 17:00 hrs.

Dr. Marwa El-Qady will give the second lecture "Royal Signs and Symbols in Ancient Egypt" on Saturday, 3 February 2007. Dr. Heba Saad will give the third lecture on" Arabic Calligraphy in Islamic Egypt" on Wednesday, 7 February 2007. The two lectures will start at 12:00 to 14:00 hrs.
