BioVision 2007 - The World Life Sciences Forum

Alexandria— A record number of world leaders in Science, Society and Industry, gathered in Lyon, France from 11-14 March 2007 to debate the role and contribution of Life Sciences to achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDSs).

Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, stated that BioVision Conference is held every even year in Alexandria, alternating with its sister conference, the World Life Sciences Forum BioVision, which takes place every odd year in Lyon, France. He stated that BioVision gathers speakers and experts in science to exchange new ideas on biotechnology, and encourages effective dialogue between distinguished speakers, who attempt to change our lives to face the 21st century challenges, and to help the less developed the sick, and the poor.
