Museum Education at the BA

The BA Antiquities Museum will present during the Mid Year vacation (27 January to 8 February 2008), an educational program on museum education.
Mrs. Mona Serry, Director of the BA Antiquities Museum stated that the program will comprise workshops on museum education using different materials, including:
1. Drawing using coal, pastel, acrylic, and wood
2. Drawing on papyrus, glass, and foam
3. Carving gypsum and limestone
4. Graving using clay and slime
5. Hammering aluminum and copper
The program reflects the BA keenness to develop the artistic and cultural sense in children and to promote their creativity.
Prior to their enrollment in the program, children and young people (10 — 19 years) will sit for a test, by which the participants will be selected. Tests will be held on Sunday, 27 January 2008 and Monday, 28 January 2008, from 10 am to 3.30 pm.
