The BA is displaying its most recent publications at the 17th round of its international book fair, held from 18 to 28 July 2022, in cooperation with the General Egyptian Book Organization and the Egyptian and Arab Publishers Association.
The Fair includes the fourth issue of The Memory of Arabs magazine, which discusses aspects of horsemanship and warfare in the Mamluk period.
The Fair also features the book Pharaonic Beauties… The Secret and Charm of the Queens of Hearts, by Dr. Hussein Abdel Bassir, with a foreword by Dr. Mostafa El-Feki. The book sheds light on the important role of ancient Egyptian women and queens, from ancient Egypt until the end of the Ptolemaic period.
In celebration of the centenary of the discovery of Tutankhamun tomb, and the imminent inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the BA has published the book Tutankhamun… The Pharaoh of Glory and Eternity. The book is written by Dr. Hussein Abdel Bassir, with a foreword by Dr. Moustafa El-Feki, and tackles the life, history, and monuments of this great pharaoh. It comes in a fancy edition that befits this exceptional occasion.
It is worth mentioning that the BA is dedicating a large section to showcasing its periodical publications, most notably Marased and Awrak series, as well as The Memory of Egypt, and The Memory of Arabs magazines. Abgadiyat, an annual international scientific peer-reviewed periodical published by the BA Writing and Scripts Center, and the Coptic Notebooks series are also part of the BA collection displayed at the Fair.
