Current position
of Dr.Shubnikov - research scientist at Center for Endocrinology «SibDiab», Novosibirsk,
Russia. For a 12 years Dr.Shubnikov was a scientific worker at Institute of Internal
Medicine at Novosibirsk. With the colleagues he started from the organization of the first
diabetes registry at Soviet Union. With the beginning of «Peresroika» and possibilities of free exchange of ideas and methodology Dr.Shubnikov started his international diabetes epidemiology research as a member of «DiaMond» project. Prevention is always more effective than treatment of disease and its complications. Epidemiology is a key factor for right strategy in diseases’s prevention. |
